Pre Piano! (Ages 5-7)

This 6-week Pre-Piano class is designed for children ages 5–7 as a fun and engaging introduction to music and the piano. In each 30-minute session, students will explore rhythm, melody and basic keyboard skills. Through games, songs, and hands-on activities, children build foundational skills that prepare them for formal piano instruction. No prior experience is necessary!

Beginning Piano for Kids! (Ages 7-9)

$105.00

This class is for new pianists ages 7-9 who would like to learn the basics of playing the piano. While notation may be used some, we will also learn songs by rote(by listening and repeating). The focus of this class is to find enjoyment in playing, even in the beginning stages of learning! Digital keyboards are provided!

Class Descriptions

Early Childhood Music(Ages 0-2)
​and
Music for Preschoolers(Ages 2-4)

Music development starts early, in fact, it starts before birth! Children ages 0-5 benefit greatly from immersion in musical experiences. During the course of the class, children will be exposed to a variety of tonalities and meters through fun and engaging activities. Scarves, parachutes, and shakers are all part of the fun!

Group Ukulele
Classes for Adults and Kids!

The Ukulele is a popular instrument because of its warm sound, accessibility, and affordable price! In 6 weeks you will be able to learn the basic chords to play along with several popular songs! This experience is meant to be informative, but also fun and enjoyable! The recommended age for this class is 8 and up. Ukuleles can be provided upon request!

Group Piano
​Classes for Adults and Kids!

The focus of this class is to find enjoyment in playing, even in the beginning stages of learning! Digital keyboards will be provided!

Music Technology

This course will introduce free music software for composing and recording for musicians 9 and up. The class will provide opportunities to explore Soundtrap, Chrome Music Lab, NoteFlight, and more! All of the programs are web based, so any type of laptop(including chromebooks) will work! If you need access to a computer, please let me know and we can try to work something out!

Drumming Up Fun!

​This class provides an exploratory percussion experience! We will be using bucket drums, trash cans, can drums, shakers, boomwhackers and more! We will be learning basic drumming and rhythmic skills, and also creating and composing basic music for our percussion ensemble! The recommended age for this class is 7 and up.
